about the bear

A dreaming bear.
A world to create.

Grizzlu is me, though in real life my name is Rémi. I'm a French indie creator currently based in Paris, though I sometimes work from Japan too. I've been building mobile apps, video games, and websites since childhood, and I'm still creating today with all my sensitivity and artistic vision. I adapt to each project by exploring every idea to its fullest.

I created my independent studio under the name Grizzlu to bring all my projects together under one roof. This studio lets me build things that feel like me, with the freedom to explore everything.

Grizzlu

Why a bear as a mascot? And why those stars in its eyes?

People sometimes call me 'bear' (even though I don't really look like one!) and grizzlies are well-known animals. The name was actually born from a typo: a friend tried to use my nickname and accidentally typed 'grizzlu'.

For the logo, I wanted to give the bear purple fur made of cosmic matter. The stars in its eyes aren't just a reflection; they come from within: a rich, creative, sensitive inner universe.

Rémi, founder of Grizzlu Studio

I create experiences that make people feel, think, and dream.

Potch was born from the desire to take care of your mental health and celebrate life's small wins through a mobile app with a gamified twist. Dawnless Era is an ambitious video game telling a story close to my heart, exploring concepts tied to cosmology, a subject I've been passionate about forever. Both projects share the same intention: to touch people's emotions.

I also collaborate with others who can help on specific aspects like illustrations, music composition, and more.
