the campfire

After hours, the den
stays warm.

When the workshop lights dim, the fire gets lit. People hang out, share what they’re building, trade ideas and bad puns, and watch the next thing take shape before anyone else does.

about the bear

I’ve been taking things apart
since before I could spell “segfault.”

I’m a developer who never quite grew out of the “but how does it work?” phase. These days that curiosity mostly points at mobile apps, tiny databases, and interfaces that feel good under the thumb.

  • small

Software should fit in your head. If I can’t explain it on a napkin, I’ve gone wrong.

  • slow

I’d rather ship one useful thing that lasts ten years than ten that are forgotten by spring.

  • warm

Tools should be friendly. A good error message is a small act of kindness.

  • curious

Half my projects exist only because I wanted to know if they could.

grizzlu

That’s me, grizzlu. A bear made of starstuff, building the small, warm projects I wish existed.

so I don’t forget them.
