grizzlu hi-fi

Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

In short

Grizzlu Hi-Fi collects no data. No account, no telemetry, no analytics, no cookies. We have neither your tracks, nor your listening history, nor your library, nor your invitation links: nothing, because nothing is sent to us.

What stays on your machine

Your music library, your settings, the invitation links you create and the software's technical logs live only on your computer, and disappear with it.

What travels on your network

When you enable local network access, audio and synchronization travel directly between your machine and the devices connected to your station, and never through a Grizzlu server. The names displayed by the player are only visible to devices connected to your station.

Updates

The software periodically checks grizz.lu for a new version. That request carries no account and no identifier: it is a plain web request, like opening a page.

Discord status

If the Discord app is open on your machine, the software may display the current track on your Discord profile. This exchange is local, between the software and your Discord app, and is controlled in Discord's settings (activity privacy). Nothing is sent to Grizzlu.

The website

This policy covers the Grizzlu Hi-Fi software; the grizz.lu website has its own.
